Obsidian Armor Mod

Overview

This mod adds a powerful obsidian armor set to Minecraft. The armor provides excellent protection and grants special abilities when worn - you'll be practically unstoppable in lava and fire!

Features

• Full obsidian armor set - Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots
• Fire Resistance - Complete immunity to fire and lava damage when wearing the full set
• Thorns Effect - Attackers catch fire when they hit you (more armor pieces = longer burn time)
• Lava Swimming - Swim easily through lava like it's water
• High Protection - Superior armor values compared to diamond or netherite
• Great Durability - Built to last through many battles
• Knockback Resistance - Harder to push around in combat

How to Use

1. Craft the armor - Each piece is crafted using obsidian in the traditional armor pattern
2. Equip the full set - Wear all 4 pieces for maximum protection and abilities
3. Explore the Nether fearlessly - Walk through lava pools and fire without taking damage
4. Repair with obsidian - Use obsidian blocks in an anvil to repair damaged pieces

Tips & Tricks

• The more armor pieces you wear, the longer enemies burn when attacking you
• Full set gives permanent fire resistance, making the Nether much safer
• The high knockback resistance helps in PvP combat
• Great for exploring lava lakes in the Nether for ancient debris

Known Limitations

• Armor textures are placeholder - will look better with custom resource packs
• Walking on lava requires the full armor set
