Recorder Mod

Overview

The Recorder Mod is a Minecraft mod that lets you control gameplay recording through an easy-to-use GUI and chat commands. You can customize recording settings like video quality, frame rate, and which game elements to capture.

Features

• Easy GUI Access: Press R (configurable) to open the main Recorder screen
• Recording Controls: Start, stop, pause, and resume recording with buttons or commands
• Video Settings: Adjust FPS, quality (up to 1080p), width, height, and format
• Camera Settings: Configure pitch, yaw, roll, angle, and recording distance
• Audio Controls: Toggle audio, video, music, and sound capture
• Weather & Time: Choose whether to record weather effects, day/night cycles, rain, snow, thunder, lightning, fog, and clouds

How to Use

Opening the GUI

• Press R key (default) to open the Recorder main screen
• Or type /recordsettings in chat

Main Screen

• Start Recording button (top right) - Begin recording
• Stop Recording button (below start) - End recording
• Settings button (center) - Open settings screen

Settings Screen

• Adjust all recording parameters using text fields and toggle buttons
• Save button (bottom right) - Save your changes
• Cancel button (bottom left) - Discard changes

Chat Commands

• /recordstart - Start recording
• /recordstop - Stop recording
• /recordpause - Pause current recording
• /recordresume - Resume paused recording
• /recordtoggle - Toggle recording on/off
• /recordsettings - Open settings GUI

Tips & Tricks

• Change the keybinding in Minecraft's Controls menu under the "Recorder" category
• Your settings are saved automatically between game sessions
• Use /recordtoggle for quick recording without opening menus

Known Limitations

• This mod provides the recording control interface and settings management
• Actual video encoding requires integration with external recording software
• Recording state is tracked but video files are not generated by this mod alone
