EpicControl is a client-side utility mod that gives you control over server boss bars. Whether you're playing on a survival server, SMP, or PvP realm, you can toggle boss bars on and off with a keybind or the in-game menu. Perfect for reducing screen clutter or focusing on what matters most.

How to Use

Toggling Boss Bars

1. Press B (default keybind) while in-game to toggle boss bars on or off
2. You'll see a message in chat confirming the change: [EpicControl] Boss bars enabled or [EpicControl] Boss bars disabled
3. Your setting is automatically saved

Using the Menu

1. Press O (default keybind) to open the EpicControl menu
2. Click Boss bars: Enabled/Disabled to change the setting
3. Click Done to return to the game

Changing the Keybind

1. Open your Minecraft Controls menu
2. Search for "Toggle Boss Bar" in the keybindings list
3. You can also remap "Open EpicControl Menu" here
4. Click on it and press your desired key
5. The new keybind is saved automatically

Configuration

• Settings are stored in your .minecraft/config/epiccontrol.json file
• You can manually edit this file if needed (advanced users only)
• The mod creates this file automatically on first launch

Tips & Tricks

• Reduce Lag - Disabling boss bars can help reduce visual clutter on servers with many active boss bars
• Better PvP - Hide boss bars during combat for a cleaner screen
• Quick Toggle - Keep the keybind handy for quick on-the-fly adjustments
• Server Compatibility - This mod works on ANY server without requiring server-side installation

Known Limitations

• Boss bars will still be processed by the server; this mod only hides them from your view
• The mod is client-side only, so other players won't see your boss bar preferences
• Works with Minecraft 1.21.1 and Fabric Loader
