the black hole

What it does

• Server-only Fabric mod that transforms the sun and moon into powerful black holes depending on time of day.
• During daylight the Black Hole Sun activates above spawn; at night the Black Hole Moon takes over.
• Players within range are pulled toward the active black hole and take magic damage if they get too close; action bar reminders warn about the pull.
• Includes /blackhole command that explains the behavior for players in-game.

How it works

• Each world tick, the mod checks day/night and positions an anchor above the world spawn (height offset by time of day).
• Players in survival/adventure within 128 blocks are given velocity toward the anchor, scaled by proximity; the inner 6-block core deals continuous magic damage.
• Notifications appear every ~2 seconds while under the effect to signal the active black hole.

Notes and suggestions

• Creative and spectator players are immune to the pull.
• Adjust gravity strength, radius, or damage in code if a different intensity is desired.
