[Cobblemon] Let Pokemon play!
- Adds a “play mode” for released Cobblemon Pokémon that activates when you stay within a configurable radius/time or when a Pokémon is released; a faint black puff ring marks the play area and follows overlapping players.
- Play activities: chasing (EV drip for the chaser), sleeping (slow HP/PP recovery), following (extra friendship while out of the ball), wandering, talking (optional move sharing), and forging (tame Pokémon roam a bit farther, return, and drop configurable loot; higher friendship boosts rare rolls; wild Pokémon don’t forge).
- Behaviors respect environment and typing: Water-types seek water to rest, Fire-types avoid it, Flying-types prefer perches, sleepers may hop up a few blocks to nap then return, and hostile attacks end play mode.
- Natures are grouped (Introvert/Extrovert/Helpful/Lazy/Mixed) with per-group permissions in the config so you can decide which personalities can chase, talk, forage, etc.
- Config lives in the Fabric config folder as
cobblemonletpokemonplay.json; includes play radius/timer, particle interval, talk move-share toggle/chance, forging toggles, cycle length, range/rarity bonuses, and common/rare loot tables. - Mod Menu provides a simple client screen to adjust key options (radius, activation time, rare loot chance, talking/forging toggles) without editing JSON directly.
- Limitations: full tuning (loot tables, nature permissions) still requires editing the JSON file; talking move sharing can grant otherwise illegal moves when enabled.
