costum armor mod notes

  • Adds eight extra armor sets (custom1 through custom8) with the same stats as diamond; vanilla armor remains unchanged.
  • All pieces are available in the Combat creative tab; you can also /give them with IDs like costumarmor:custom1_helmet.
  • Textures are pulled from config/costumarmor/skins/ at load time:
    • Provide customX_layer_1.png for helmet/chestplate/boots.
    • Provide customX_layer_2.png for leggings.
    • Or provide customX.png to use one image for both layers.
  • After adding or changing PNGs, reload resources (F3+T) or restart to see them applied; missing files fall back to the vanilla diamond texture.
  • A README.txt is written to the config folder with the same file naming instructions.

Server Validation

✅ Server validation passed - The mod was tested on a real Minecraft server and loaded successfully.
