DonutAuction is a client-side Fabric HUD for Minecraft 1.21.1 that only activates while playing as Dirtbin. It provides a simple auction overlay with a countdown timer, the tracked highest bid, and a winner label.
- Use
/startauction <seconds> [bid] [winner]to start a countdown. The optional bid sets the displayed highest bid, and the optional winner text lets you prefill who is winning. - The HUD appears near the top center of the screen, showing the remaining time (mm:ss), highest bid, and winner text. When the timer hits zero, the overlay stays up with an ended state until a new auction is started.
- The mod runs entirely on the client; it does not communicate with a server or other players, so auction data is local to your game session.
- The overlay and command checks the logged-in player name and will not render or start if you are not Dirtbin.
Known limitations and notes:
- No server sync or shared bidding logic; you control the displayed values manually with the command.
- Auction state resets when you restart Minecraft or rejoin a world since it is not persisted.
