Lavender Ghosts
This mod aims to replace hostile minecraft mobs like the zombie, skeleton, endermen, etc with Ghosts. To make the cobblemon experience more immersive Ghosts...
00—fabricServer1.21.1mod
Lavender Ghosts introduces spectral replacements for hostile mobs to add a haunted feel to Cobblemon servers.
- Hostile replacements: zombies, husks, drowned, skeletons, strays, spiders, creepers, and endermen are swapped for ghostly versions that inherit their attack style (ranged, melee, teleporting, or a short fuse blast).
- Ghost traits: they phase through walls, emit phantom-like warning calls, burn in sunlight, and actively search for nearby shade instead of hiding inside solid blocks. They drop the same loot/xp as their original mob unless transformed.
- Capture-proof: thrown pokéballs from the Cobblemon namespace bounce and fizzle on contact; ghosts cannot be captured or weakened that way.
- Silph Scope: craftable with a spyglass, glass pane, amethyst shard, and an ender pearl. Using it on a ghost consumes the item (unless creative), prevents xp/loot, and replaces the ghost with a named phantom encounter themed after classic ghost Pokémon with a small shiny chance.
- Combat notes: ghost variants keep their base behaviors—skeleton-style ghosts fire arrows, endermen-style ghosts teleport to you, spider-style ghosts pounce, and creeper-style ghosts detonate in a short-range spectral burst.
- Limitations/suggestions: visuals rely on vanilla models/sounds; client resource packs can further theme ghosts. Pokéball rejection depends on Cobblemon item IDs containing “ball,” so custom items with different naming might not be detected. Ghosts are server-registered entities; ensure connected clients have matching mod files for rendering.
