PVP Off-On

  • Use /pvp off to block damage from other players and /pvp on to re-enable it; running /pvp alone shows your current setting.
  • Only player-vs-player hits are blocked; fall damage, projectiles from mobs, and other non-player sources still hurt you.
  • Attackers receive a notice when their hit is cancelled because either they or the target have PVP disabled.

Notes and limitations:

  • PVP preferences are kept in memory only; server restarts reset everyone to PVP on until they toggle again.
  • The mod needs to run on the server; clients do not need to install it for the protection to work.
