Team Illager turns Pillagers, Vindicators, Witches, Evokers, and Illusioners into Cobblemon trainers. They chase nearby players (within ~18 blocks) and start a battle once close, rather than dealing normal damage. Vexes are discarded on spawn.
- Battle rules: all direct damage between players and illagers is blocked; only Pokémon battles matter. Non-participating Pillagers are calmed briefly when a battle starts.
- Trainer tiers: Pillager grunts use small, lower-level teams; Vindicators favor physical attackers; Witches use special-leaning species; Evokers/Illusioners act as bosses with strong teams and drop a Master Ball on defeat. Levels scale from the player’s highest healthy Pokémon up to the Cobblemon level cap.
- Battles: nearby illagers can form a two-trainer double battle if both sides have enough Pokémon. Stronger AI is assigned to higher tiers. Illagers die when their team is beaten; if the player flees, illagers disengage without dying.
- Pokémon pools: grunts draw from rattata/zubat/nickit/poochyena/shinx; enforcers from machoke/primeape/scizor/gallade/krookodile; hexers from gengar/mismagius/delphox/gardevoir/espathra; bosses from garchomp/hydreigon/dragapult/dragonite/metagross. Team sizes: 2 for most, 3 for bosses.
- Environment: runs on both client and server; compatible with Minecraft 1.21.1 and Cobblemon 1.7.1.
