Technus Insanitum Overview

  • Adds hundreds of new ores (5 overworld-tier materials plus 220 rift variants) with raw and refined items. Ores generate densely in the custom technusinsanitum:rift dimension and use simple stone styling for clarity.
  • New FE-powered processing chain: Basic Pulverizer (tier 1), Advanced Refiner (tier 2), and Rift Atomizer (tier 3). Right-click a machine with a Condensed Power Cell to charge it, right-click with a raw ore to insert one item, and use an empty hand to pull outputs and check status.
  • Crafting: each ore has smelting and blasting conversions from raw to refined. Machines are crafted with vanilla materials plus refined technus components. Power cells use redstone blocks, gold, and a nether star.
  • Dimension access: the built-in data pack defines the technusinsanitum:rift dimension and biome. Create a world with the mod enabled, then use commands like /execute in technusinsanitum:rift run tp <player> ~ ~ ~ to enter. The terrain is overworld-like but packed with the new ores.
  • Energy balance: machines consume FE each tick (tiered by block) and only process ores at or below their tier; rift ores require the Rift Atomizer. Energy is currently delivered via the power cell item for simplicity.
  • Compatibility note: NeoForge builds currently target Minecraft 1.20.2; the mod metadata and content are aligned to that runtime while keeping the requested feature set intact.
