Totem Tier Tagger

  • Built for Fabric on Minecraft 1.21.x, loading on both client and server sides.
  • Fetches player tiers from totem-tiers.base44.app on server start (or /totemtier reload) and caches the data.
  • Online players found in the list get a scoreboard team with a color-coded [TIER] prefix applied to their nametag and tab entry; teams are prefixed with ttg_ per tier.
  • Commands: /totemtier shows cache status, /totemtier reload refreshes data, /totemtier lookup <name> shows the cached tier for a username.
  • Tier colors: HT1 dark red, HT2 red, HT3 gold; LT1 dark aqua, LT2 green, LT3 dark green; unknown tiers show as gray.

Limitations & notes:

  • Needs internet access to reach the Totem Tiers API; without it no tags will be applied.
  • Players not present in the tier list are left unchanged, and only the vanilla_tier field is used.
  • Servers that already manage scoreboard teams should avoid conflicting with the ttg_ prefixed teams this mod creates.
