War Mod Notes
- This server-side mod automatically deploys a defensive squad whenever a pillager gets close to villagers (about 48 blocks).
- Each response squad includes a War Tank (buffed iron golem), a War Car (spruce chest boat with a snow golem soldier holding a crossbow), and a Foot Soldier (snow golem with an iron sword) so villagers have armed allies on land and on a rideable car.
- Defenders immediately focus pillagers, retarget nearby pillagers within 48 blocks every few seconds, and are tagged so they stay active instead of wandering off.
- Spawns are throttled to one squad per chunk per minute and only occur in the Overworld when villagers are present, preventing runaway armies far from towns or in other dimensions.
- Snow golem soldiers can melt in very hot biomes or rain; tanks (iron golems) remain sturdy and carry strength/resistance boosts to tank damage.
- No setup is required beyond adding the mod; just run your server and let the defenders roll in when pillagers threaten a village.
