Overview

The Virtual Miner is a futuristic machine that generates ores magically without mining the world! Simply fuel it up, pick your desired ore type, and watch it produce resources automatically. Perfect for players who want to focus on building instead of digging.

Features

  • 8 Different Ores: Generate Iron, Gold, Diamond, Emerald, Redstone, Lapis, Coal, and Copper
  • Fuel System: Add energy to power the machine (click "+ ADD FUEL" for 25 units)
  • Progress Tracking: Real-time progress bar shows production status
  • Interactive UI: Sleek sci-fi interface with glowing buttons and live updates
  • Production Rates: Different ores take different times (Coal is fastest at 5s, Diamonds take 30s)
  • Auto-Collection: Ores are stored in the machine's internal inventory
  • State Saving: Your settings and inventory persist across server restarts

How to Use

  1. Place the Virtual Miner block in your world (requires admin/block placement permissions)

  2. Open the UI: Right-click or interact with the block to open the sci-fi control panel

  3. Add Fuel: Click the green "+ ADD FUEL" button to add 25 energy units per click

  4. Select Your Ore: Click any of the 8 ore buttons to choose what you want to produce

    • Selected ore button will turn blue
    • Production time is shown for each ore type

  5. Start Mining: Click the "START" button to begin production

    • Status will change to "ACTIVE" in green
    • Progress bar fills as ore is being produced

  6. Collect Ores: When production completes, ores appear in the machine's inventory

    • If inventory is full, excess ores drop on the ground nearby

  7. Stop Anytime: Click "STOP" to pause production (progress is saved!)

Tips & Tricks

  • Fuel Efficient: Add plenty of fuel before starting - the machine stops automatically when fuel runs out
  • Coal is King: Need resources fast? Coal produces every 5 seconds!
  • Diamonds Take Time: Be patient with rare ores - diamonds need 30 seconds each
  • Check Progress: The progress bar shows exactly how close your next ore is
  • Multiple Machines: Build a mining farm with multiple Virtual Miners for maximum output
  • Don't Worry About Closing: Your selected ore, fuel level, and progress are all saved when you close the UI

Known Limitations

  • The machine requires manual fuel addition (no automatic fuel input yet)
  • Maximum fuel capacity is 100 units
  • Ores must be collected manually from the inventory or picked up from drops
