- Server-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that reports your gear durability without any client installs.
- Swap to a sword in your hotbar to get an action bar readout showing each armor piece's remaining durability plus the sword's name and durability.
- Run
/gearstatusfor a chat message,/gearstatus actionbarto force an action bar update, or/gearstatus armorto see only armor values. - Players are reminded about the command on join; if they log in holding a sword, they immediately get a status ping.
- Limitations: automatic updates trigger only when a sword is selected; other items require the command. No inventory UI changes beyond the server messages.
