CCTV STEALTH Mod
Overview
CCTV STEALTH adds a working security camera system to Minecraft! Place cameras that rotate and scan for players, then watch them on monitors. Get caught in the camera's field of view and face the consequences - this turns your world into a stealth game!
Features
- Security Cameras: Place cameras on walls that slowly rotate left and right, scanning their surroundings with a visible red particle field of view
- Real-time Detection: When you enter a camera's line of sight, an alert sound plays and a detection timer starts
- Consequences: If you stay in the camera's view too long, you'll face the consequences (instant death, teleport to spawn, or alarm - configurable!)
- Redstone Control: Power cameras with redstone to disable them - great for creating security bypasses
- Monitors: Place monitors to view what your cameras see (right-click to check camera info)
- Stealth Options: Sneaking, invisibility potions, and darkness all reduce your detection range
How to Use
- Craft a Security Camera: Use iron ingots, ender eye, and redstone in a crafting table
- Place the Camera: Right-click on a wall to place - it will face away from you
- Watch the Red Particles: The camera shows its field of view with red dust particles
- Disable with Redstone: Send a redstone signal to the camera to disable it
- Craft a Monitor: Use glass panes, ender pearl, iron, and redstone
- Check Camera Info: Right-click a camera to see its settings
Tips & Tricks
- Sneak past cameras to reduce your detection range by 50%
- Invisibility potions reduce detection by 75% - perfect for heists!
- Stay in dark areas (light level below 7) to reduce detection by 40%
- Use redstone to create security bypasses - cameras shut down when powered
- The detection timer is 3 seconds by default - fast enough to be challenging!
Known Limitations
- Camera view rendering on monitors is currently informational only (shows linked camera position)
- Camera rotation is smooth but particles may flicker on lower-end systems
- Multiplayer requires all players to have the mod installed
