ConsoleDifficulty

ConsoleDifficulty replaces easy-cheat commands with XP-priced utilities.

Features

• Mod ID consoledifficulty, runs on both client and server for Minecraft 1.19.2.
• Disables the vanilla /xp command while leaving normal XP gain untouched.
• Press G (client) to open the Console Difficulty menu listing curated commands and their XP level costs.
• Available actions: Set Daylight (5 levels), Clear Weather for a while (4 levels), Bind Spawn Here (3 levels), Recover Health with regen + saturation (6 levels).
• Selecting an action sends a secure request to the server; if you have enough levels they are deducted and the command runs with elevated permissions in your dimension.
• /consoledifficulty server command prints the available actions and costs as chat help.

How to use

• Install the mod on the server to enforce XP rules and on the client to get the in-game menu.
• Earn XP normally; when you have the required levels, press G and click an action to spend levels and trigger it.

Artifacts

• Built jar: build/libs/consoledifficulty-0.1.0.jar (sources jar also generated alongside it).

Notes / limits

• Actions and costs are fixed in this build; changing them requires code edits.
• If another mod reintroduces /xp it may conflict with the removal performed at command registration.

Server Validation

✅ Server validation passed - The mod was tested on a real Minecraft server and loaded successfully.
