Dirt is useful mod notes
- New dirt portal: build a 4x5 dirt frame (2x3 inner space) and ignite the inside with flint and steel to open a portal. The portal uses nether-portal blocks but links to the custom dirt dimension.
- Dirt dimension: flat, dirt-heavy world with a prepared spawn pad and a ready-made portal. Arrivals land near the portal at the surface level.
- Boss gate: a Dirt Colossus husk spawns in the dirt world on first entry. The return portal is locked until this boss is defeated.
- Rewards: the Dirt Colossus drops a large cache of valuables (diamonds, emeralds, netherite, ancient debris, and a marked shulker box) plus heavy experience.
- Returning: after the boss dies, step into the dirt portal in the dirt world to return to the spot you entered from (or the main spawn if no return point was stored).
- Limitations: portal tracking and boss state reset on server restart; frames must be pure dirt (not grass/coarse dirt); only recognizes the standard 4x5 frame size oriented along X or Z.
