Echoing Void Vanilla
Overview
Echoing Void Vanilla brings the mysterious End Wilds biome and its creatures to your Minecraft server! Inspired by the Echoing Void DLC, this mod adds four unique hostile mobs that spawn in The End dimension, each with special abilities and useful drops.
Features
Four New Mobs:
- Snarelings - Quick enemies that trap you with slowing attacks and ranged snares. Drop string, cobwebs, and Ender Pearls.
- Watchlings - Teleporting stalkers that apply glowing and blindness effects. Drop spyglasses, amethyst shards, and Ender Pearls.
- Blastlings - Explosive attackers that shoot fireballs. Drop gunpowder, fire charges, blaze powder, and Ender Pearls.
- Endersents - Massive, extremely rare bosses with heavy attacks and area knockback. Always drop Eyes of Ender plus bonus loot like diamonds and obsidian.
Where They Spawn: All four mobs spawn naturally in The End dimension, particularly in the End Highlands and other End biomes. Endersents have an incredibly rare chance to appear in the Overworld - consider yourself lucky (or unlucky!) if you spot one.
How to Use
No commands or configuration needed! Just install the mod on your server and explore The End. The mobs will spawn naturally in dark areas.
Tips for Fighting:
- Snarelings: Keep your distance to avoid their slowing snares
- Watchlings: Don't let them stare at you too long or you'll glow for other mobs to see
- Blastlings: Dodge their fireballs and close the gap quickly
- Endersents: Bring your best gear! They hit hard and can knock you back significantly
Tips & Tricks
- Endersents are your best source of Eyes of Ender if you've already defeated the Ender Dragon
- Watchlings drop spyglasses fairly often - great for early-game exploration
- All mobs have a small chance to drop Ender Pearls, making End exploration more rewarding
- The mobs fight each other too! Watchlings will attack Endermen, creating natural distractions
Known Limitations
- Mob models use retextured vanilla mob appearances (Enderman for Snarelings/Watchlings, Ghast for Blastlings, Iron Golem for Endersents)
- Custom sounds use vanilla sound effects
- Extremely rare Overworld Endersent spawns may not trigger in some circumstances
