Floaty Friend adds a magical sentient unicorn swimming ring to your Minecraft world! This adorable inflatable companion keeps you floating on water, can be worn as armor, placed as decoration, and even interacts with you like a real friend.

Features

• Wearable Companion: Equip your Floaty Friend in your chest armor slot and never sink again
• Automatic Floating: When wearing it in water, you'll automatically float to the surface and stay there
• Inflatable/Deflatable: Sneak + right-click to inflate or deflate your floaty (changes appearance and behavior)
• Placeable Decoration: Right-click on a block to place your Floaty Friend as a decoration - works on both land and water
• Sentient Interactions: Your floaty makes cute sounds and sends you playful messages occasionally
• Water Breathing: Get unlimited breath while floating with your magical friend
• Repairable: Fix damaged floaties using leather (just like leather armor)

How to Use

Getting Started:

• Use the /floatyfriend command to check if the mod is active

Equipping:

• Hold the Floaty Friend in your hand and right-click to equip it to your chest slot
• Or place it in your chest armor slot manually through your inventory

Inflating/Deflating:

• Hold the Floaty Friend and sneak (hold shift) + right-click to toggle between inflated and deflated states
• Inflated: Full functionality, cute appearance
• Deflated: Compact for storage, quieter

Placing in World:

• Right-click on any block while holding the Floaty Friend to place it as decoration
• Can be placed on land or directly on water
• Click the placed floaty to inflate/deflate it and see cute messages

Swimming:

• Simply jump into water while wearing your Floaty Friend
• You'll automatically float without sinking
• Move normally in water without worrying about drowning

Tips & Tricks

• Place multiple floaties around your beach or pool area for a festive summer vibe
• Deflate your floaty when not in use to keep it compact in your inventory
• Listen carefully - your sentient friend occasionally makes magical sounds when held
• The floaty works in any water: oceans, rivers, pools, even waterlogged areas
• Your floaty friend is gentle and won't push you around - it just keeps you afloat!

Known Limitations

• The floaty must be worn in the chest armor slot to provide floating benefits
• When placed as a block, the floaty is decorative and doesn't provide swimming benefits
• The floaty follows standard armor durability mechanics and will break with heavy use
