Gun Sword Mod

Overview

The Gun Sword mod adds a unique weapon that combines melee combat with ranged attacks. This futuristic sword can launch razor-sharp iron blades at enemies from a distance, making it perfect for both close-quarters and long-range combat.

Features

• Gun Sword Weapon: A 3D sword with a built-in launcher mechanism
• Blade Projectile System: Shoot sharp iron blades that deal damage to mobs and players
• Ammo Management: Requires blades as ammunition that you must craft and carry
• Reload Mechanics: Automatically consumes blades from your inventory when shooting

How to Use

Crafting Blades (Ammunition)

1. Open your crafting table
2. Place 3 iron ingots in a vertical line (one in each row of a single column)
3. This creates 4 blades that serve as your ammunition

Crafting the Gun Sword

1. Open your crafting table
2. Place the ingredients in this pattern:
   • Top row: Empty, Blade, Empty
   • Middle row: Blade, Iron Ingot, Blade
   • Bottom row: Empty, Stick, Empty

Using the Gun Sword

1. Hold the Gun Sword in your hand
2. Right-click to shoot a blade in the direction you're facing
3. Blades travel in a straight line and damage any entity they hit
4. The sword has a short cooldown between shots
5. If you run out of blades, you'll see a message reminding you to craft more

Tips & Tricks

• Always keep plenty of blades in your inventory - you don't want to run out mid-fight!
• Blades travel fast and deal significant damage (8 hearts)
• The Gun Sword is great for hitting enemies from a safe distance
• Stock up on iron before going on adventures since you'll need it for both the weapon and ammo

Known Limitations

• Placeholder textures are currently in use; custom textures may be added in a future update
• The sword does not currently have special 3D model rendering in first-person view
