Overview
Ultimate Hard Mode gates all progression by the server’s in-game day count. You start with leather and wood only, and gradually unlock tools, armor, farming, dimensions, and sleeping freedoms as days pass.
Features
- Strict day-based unlocks: Wood/Leather (Day 0), Boats/Bundles/Stone (Day 5), Copper and Farming (Day 10), Iron and Chest Looting (Day 25), Gold/Redstone/Lapis/Emerald/Golden Carrots (Day 30), Nether and Golden Apples (Day 40), Diamond Tools/Brewing (Day 50), Diamond Armor/Shield (Day 55), Enchanting/normal XP/Sleep every 2 days (Day 75), Unrestricted sleep (Day 100), Netherite Tools (Day 110), Netherite Armor (Day 120), End (Day 150), Elytra (Day 170), Totems (Day 200).
- Locked ores are unbreakable until their day; locked items are deleted if obtained early.
- Sleeping is disabled until Day 40, then limited by per-player cooldowns until Day 100.
- Villager trades and structure chests respect unlocks; portals can be built but not entered early.
- Always Hard difficulty.
How to Use
- Play as normal; survive with whatever is currently unlocked.
- Check the current server day with
/day. - Wait for the relevant day to mine higher ores, open structure chests, enter Nether/End, brew, enchant, or craft higher tiers.
- Sleep only when your cooldown allows; you’ll be told if you must wait.
Known Limitations
- Unlocks are tied to the global server day; new or late-joining players cannot bypass earlier gates.
- Using time-changing commands or edits may desync intended pacing.
- Any locked items gained early (from trades, loot, or friends) are deleted without refund.
