Heart Stealer Mace

A powerful custom mace mod for Minecraft 1.21.11 servers that adds a unique heart-stealing mechanic to player combat.

Features

The Heart Stealer Mace

• Crafting Recipe: Place 1 Mace in the center of a crafting grid with 8 Diamond Blocks surrounding it
• Red Display Name: The mace appears as "The Heart Stealer Mace" with red text
• Enchantable: Can be enhanced using enchantment tables and anvils

Heart Stealing Mechanic

• 10% Chance: When hitting a player with the mace, there is a 10% chance to steal their heart
• Heart Item: Stolen hearts appear as player heads in your inventory
• 2-Minute Timer: Stolen hearts automatically return to their original owner after 2 minutes

Progression System

• Kill Tracking: The mace tracks how many kills you've made with it
• Evolution: After 5 kills, the mace transforms into "The Heart Stealer Mace" (dark red name)
• One of a Kind: Only one transformed mace can exist in the world at a time
• Permanent Hearts: Once transformed, all stolen hearts are kept forever

Death Mechanics

• If a player dies while carrying a stolen heart, the killer gets to keep that heart permanently
• The victim loses the stolen heart, but the original owner still gets their heart back when the timer expires

How to Use

1. Craft the Mace: Use a crafting table with 1 mace in the center and 8 diamond blocks around it
2. Attack Players: Hit enemy players to potentially steal their hearts
3. Collect Hearts: Stolen hearts appear in your inventory - protect them!
4. Earn Kills: Get 5 kills with the mace to unlock its full power
5. Keep Hearts: After transformation, all stolen hearts are yours to keep

Tips & Tricks

• The heart steal is random (10%), so keep attacking to maximize your chances
• Hearts can drop from your inventory if you die - be careful!
• The transformed mace is extremely rare - only one can exist worldwide
• Use the /heartstealermace give command to get a mace for testing

Known Limitations

• Heart stealing only works on players, not mobs
• The mace must be in your main hand to trigger the effect
• If your inventory is full when stealing a heart, it will drop on the ground
• Hearts cannot be stolen from players who are already dead
