Laser Block Mod Notes

• Adds a client-side mod with ID laserblock and a new Laser Block item in the Redstone creative tab.
• Placing and powering the block spins an embedded end crystal; the spin speed ramps up while powered and decays when power is removed.
• At maximum speed the block lights up (full luminance) and the crystal projects a bright vertical beam using the end-crystal effect.
• When power drops, the crystal slows, the beam shuts off, and the block fades back to its lower light level.

Implementation Details & Tips

• The block uses glass textures (charged and uncharged variants) so you can see the crystal animation inside.
• Beam targeting is straight upward from the block (12 blocks high) for a simple, noticeable column of light.
• The mod is flagged environment: client; it is intended for client-side use (integrated/singleplayer) and does not load on dedicated servers.

Known Limitations / Future Ideas

• Effects are purely visual; the beam does not damage or interact with entities.
• Beam direction is fixed upward; adding targeting or color variation based on redstone strength could be a future enhancement.
