Manhunt mod notes
- Added a hunter’s compass that updates once per second using the lodestone tracker component so it always points at the chosen runner without needing a lodestone block.
- Set the runner by right-clicking them with any compass or with
/manhunt runner <player>;/manhunt clearstops tracking,/manhunt statusreports roles, and/manhunt compasshands the caller a tracker if they need one. - When a runner is chosen, every other online player is treated as a hunter and is given a named compass (dropped at their feet if their inventory is full); new hunters get one on join as long as a runner is active.
- If the runner disconnects the role is cleared and existing compasses revert to normal; compasses track the runner’s current dimension and position.
- Known limitations / ideas: roles reset on server restart, only one runner is supported at a time, cross-dimension tracking spins until the hunter matches the runner’s dimension, and there’s no built-in round timer or GUI.
