Mark Mod Notes

  • Adds a tiered Mark progression. Players start at tier 0 with slight weaknesses and can ascend up to tier 4 for large health, attack, speed, armor, and knockback resistance bonuses.
  • Upgrading is done by using the Mark Sigil item while holding required materials; each tier consumes Lumina Shards, Void Fragments, Aether Clusters, Ascension Cores, experience levels, and late-game items (blaze rods, nether star). Progress persists through death.
  • New ores spawn in distinct dimensions: Lumina Ore in the Overworld stone/deepslate layers, Voidstone Ore in the Nether base stone, and Aetherium Ore in End stone. Each ore drops its named fragment/shard and respects Silk Touch and Fortune.
  • Crafting: combine the three ore drops to make an Ascension Core; surround it with gold and shards to craft the Mark Sigil; mix a bottle with all three drops plus glowstone dust for a Resonance Tonic consumable that scales buffs with your current tier.
  • Resonance Tonic grants temporary damage, resistance, and speed boosts that improve with higher Mark tiers.
  • A dedicated creative tab (Mark: Ascension) exposes all new items and ores for quick testing or map-making.
  • Known limitations/suggestions: biome modifiers target vanilla dimension tags; if using heavy worldgen overhauls, double-check ore distribution. No custom GUI or networking is included; progression feedback is text-based.
