ModularCraft
A mod where you can detach your or any mob's body parts and can swap body parts with other players or mobs
ModularCraft
Overview
ModularCraft lets you detach, collect, and swap body parts with any living creature in Minecraft! Play as a mad scientist by removing heads, arms, legs, and torsos from players and mobs, then reattach them to create hilarious combinations.
Features
- Detach Body Parts - Remove heads, torsos, arms, and legs from any living entity
- Swap Parts - Exchange body parts between different players and mobs
- Collect Parts - Store detached body parts as items in your inventory
- Reattach Parts - Put body parts back on entities (or different ones!)
- Check Status - See what parts any entity currently has attached
How to Use
Getting Body Part Items
Use the give command to get body part items:
/modularcraft give <part>
Parts: head, torso, left_arm, right_arm, left_leg, right_leg
Detaching Parts
Method 1 - Commands:
/modularcraft detach <target> <part>
Example: /modularcraft detach @e[type=zombie] head
Method 2 - Direct Attack: Right-click on an entity with the corresponding body part item to detach it (if they have that part)
Attaching Parts
Right-click on an entity that is missing a body part with the matching body part item in your hand.
Swapping Parts
Swap parts between two entities:
/modularcraft swap <source_entity> <target_entity> <part>
Example: /modularcraft swap Player1 Player2 head
Checking Status
See what parts an entity has:
/modularcraft status <target>
Tips & Tricks
- Use body parts strategically in PvP - disarm your opponents literally!
- Create mismatched mobs by swapping parts between different creature types
- Parts are saved when you log out, so your collection persists
- Creative mode players don't consume items when attaching parts
Known Limitations
- Visual rendering changes (like invisible detached parts) are cosmetic only and don't affect gameplay
- Some mob behaviors may not change even without certain parts (this is intentional for game balance)
