monster hunter enemies adds three Monster Hunter bosses—Espinas, Glavenus, and Teostra—built for Minecraft 1.20.1 with Fabric. They never spawn naturally; use /summon monsterhunterenemies:espinas, /summon monsterhunterenemies:glavenus, or /summon monsterhunterenemies:teostra to fight them. Each boss shows a boss bar, ignores knockback and despawning, and focuses on player targets.
Key behavior
- Espinas (500 HP): toxic fire breath with poison slow clouds, horn rush with paralysis-style slow/fatigue that gains a stomp finisher when enraged (below half health), and an explosive body slam shockwave.
- Glavenus (600 HP): heated tail cleaves with wide sweeps that chain when enraged, a tail slam that blasts and lights the ground, and a molten charge that drags fire behind it.
- Teostra (700 HP): scatters delayed blast-powder charges, sweeps long fire breath that adds Weakness, and charges an explosive nova; enraged mode boosts ranges and damage.
- All attacks run on cooldown-driven goals with windups, particles, and sounds to telegraph danger; rage phases enlarge ranges or add follow-ups.
- Bosses are persistent, immune to knockback, and tuned for command-spawned encounters only.
Notes and suggestions
- Renderers reuse vanilla biped models and textures for simplicity; custom models or textures can be swapped in if desired.
- Fire-based moves light nearby blocks; enable fire tick accordingly or adjust if running on protected builds.
