Omegaverse Mod

Overview

Omegaverse adds a biological role system to Minecraft where players choose between three secondary genders: Alpha, Beta, or Omega. Each role comes with unique permanent buffs and special cyclical effects that change gameplay dynamics.

Features

  • Three Biological Roles: Choose Alpha (strength + health), Beta (neutral, immune to pheromones), or Omega (speed + night vision)
  • Cyclical Effects: Alphas enter "Rut" every 7 days (Strength II but increased hunger), Omegas enter "Heat" (Weakness but better luck)
  • Pheromone System: Players emit invisible scent particles that trigger special effects when Alphas and Omegas are near each other
  • New Items: Scent Blockers to hide your presence, Scent Markers for territory claiming, Golden Daggers for bonding rituals
  • Nesting: Omegas can build nests with Soft Wool and Comfort Silk blocks for special buffs
  • Bonding: Players can perform rituals to become bonded pairs with shared benefits

How to Use

  1. First Join: When you first enter a world, a GUI will appear to select your gender (Alpha, Beta, or Omega)
  2. Check Your Role: Your permanent buffs apply automatically based on your choice
  3. Watch for Cycles: Every 7 Minecraft days, your cyclical effects (Rut/Heat) will activate automatically
  4. Use Scent Blockers: Brew and drink Scent Blockers to hide from pheromone effects for 10 minutes
  5. Build Nests: Place 9+ Soft Wool or Comfort Silk blocks in a 3x3 area and sleep there as an Omega
  6. Claim Territory: Alphas can place Scent Markers to create a 50x50 territory that buffs allies
  7. Bond with Others: Use a Golden Dagger on another player to initiate a bonding ritual

Tips & Tricks

  • Betas are immune to all pheromone effects, making them great traders and mediators
  • During Rut, Alphas should stock up on food due to increased hunger drain
  • Omegas in Heat get better Fortune drops - perfect time for mining!
  • Build your nest before sleeping to maximize the Well Rested buff duration
  • Bonded players can always find each other - great for multiplayer coordination

Known Limitations

  • Villager trading integration is currently disabled and will be added in a future update
  • Some advanced pheromone particle effects may not be visible in all lighting conditions
