PowerUp SMP Plugin

Overview

PowerUp transforms your SMP into an epic battle arena with 35 unique superpowers! Each player receives one special power with 5 different abilities, creating exciting PvP combat and strategic gameplay. The world border starts tiny at 10x10 and expands to 2000x2000 as powers are distributed, building tension and forcing encounters.

• 5 Moves Per Power: Each power has 5 different abilities activated by different key combinations
• Dynamic World Border: Starts at 10x10 and expands to 2000x2000 when the game begins
• Power Trading: Trade powers with other players using the /trade command
• Visual Effects: Laser beams, particles, and animations for every ability

How to Use

Admin Commands

• /startsmp - Begin the SMP! Border expands and powers are distributed to online players
• /rewindsmp - Reset everything: border shrinks back to 10x10 and all powers are removed

Player Commands

• /trade power <player> - Request to trade your power with another player
• /trade accept - Accept an incoming trade request
• /trade reject - Reject an incoming trade request

Keybindings (Hold SHIFT + Key)

• SHIFT + Left Click - Activate Move 1
• SHIFT + Right Click - Activate Move 2
• SHIFT + Q - Activate Move 3
• SHIFT + F - Activate Move 4
• SHIFT + Double Jump - Activate Move 5 (press jump twice quickly while holding SHIFT)

How It Works

1. Admin runs /startsmp to begin
2. The world border slowly expands from 10x10 to 2000x2000
3. Each online player gets a unique power (no duplicates!)
4. Powers roll on screen with particle animations
5. 5 legendary powers are scattered around the map for players to discover
6. Late-joining players receive remaining powers automatically
7. Use your 5 moves in combat!

Tips & Tricks

• Legendary powers (Cosmic Power, Dragon Breath, Divine Wrath, Void Consumption, Eternal Flame) are the strongest and hidden around the world
• Each power's moves have different ranges and effects - experiment to find your favorite
• Trading powers allows you to try different playstyles
• The shrinking border at the start creates intense early-game encounters
• Watch for particle effects to find legendary power locations

Known Limitations

• Players must be online when /startsmp is run to receive initial powers
• Only 30 players receive powers during initial distribution; remaining players must find legendary powers or join late
• Power abilities are cosmetic and don't modify blocks permanently
