Rarity Mod

Rarity Mod adds a client-side rarity roll to tools, weapons, and armor. When you hover a supported item, it now shows a colored Rarity: ... line.

Rarities and colors (higher tiers are rarer): Uncommon (green, weight 60), Rare (blue, weight 25), Epic (purple, weight 10), Legendary (gold, weight 5).

How it works: the first time an item stack is seen, it is assigned a rarity based on the weights above and stored in the stack's custom data so the same stack keeps its roll on future tooltips. Items covered include armor pieces, swords, bows, crossbows, tridents, shields, and mining tools such as pickaxes, axes, shovels, and hoes.

Notes and limits: the mod runs on the client. Rarity is saved in the item stack data you see locally; multiplayer servers without this mod will not be aware of the rarity values. Future improvements could expose configuration for the weights or add server-side syncing so all players see the same rarity rolls.
