Realistic Animal Mod

Overview

This mod makes your Minecraft animals feel more alive! Every passive mob now has a gender and breed type, making your farms more realistic. It also adds riding gear items for equestrian adventures.

Features

• Animal Genders: All passive animals (cows, chickens, horses, pigs, sheep, rabbits) now have a randomly assigned gender - male or female
• Realistic Breeds:
  • Cows can be Highland Cows, Angus, Hereford, Jersey, or Holstein
  • Chickens come in Rhode Island Red, Leghorn, Plymouth Rock, Orpington, or Sussex breeds
  • Horses can be Arabian, Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse, Clydesdale, Mustang, or Appaloosa
• Riding Gear: Three new equestrian armor pieces:
  • Riding Helmet - protects your head while riding
  • Riding Vest - body protection for safer riding
  • Riding Boots - proper footwear for horseback

How to Use

• The mod works automatically! All animals that spawn will have assigned genders and breeds
• Riding gear items can be crafted or obtained through creative mode/loot tables
• Equip riding gear like normal armor - they provide protection similar to leather armor

Tips & Tricks

• Breed info is stored per animal - named animals will keep their data
• Mix different breeds for variety in your farms
• Riding gear is perfect for exploring on horseback!

Known Limitations

• This is a server-side mod, so visual changes to animal textures require a companion client-side resource pack
• Gender currently doesn't affect breeding mechanics - it's for roleplay/display purposes
• Breed types are cosmetic and don't change animal behavior or stats
