What was built
- Added a client-focused NeoForge mod "ricks mod" with two gadgets: a Power Lab Coat armor chestpiece and a Portal Gun utility item.
How it works
- Power Lab Coat: wear in the chest slot to gain constant jump and strength buffs. While sneaking, right-click with your main hand to dash forward; it hits the nearest target in front for bonus damage, applies knockback, plays a hit sound, and has a short cooldown to prevent spam.
- Portal Gun: right-click to save your current spot. Sneak + right-click to teleport back to the saved spot (same dimension only). Teleport plays portal-themed audio and shows feedback messages. The saved position is stored on the individual item stack.
- Both items appear in the custom creative tab "Rick's Gadgets" for easy access.
Notes and limitations
- The portal gun only teleports within the dimension where the portal was saved; it will warn you if you try from another dimension.
- Dash activation checks the main hand right-click and only works while the coat is worn; avoid using it in tight spaces to prevent overshooting.
- Saved portal data is per item stack; crafting or using a new gun starts with no saved location.
