Riverly AntiElitraTR
Overview
This is an anti-cheat plugin that catches players using the "Elitra Target" cheat - a hack that rapidly switches hotbar slots to gain an unfair advantage. Unlike basic detection, it uses smart jitter analysis to tell the difference between cheating and fast but legitimate playing.
Features
- Packet Jitter Analysis - Detects cheats by measuring how consistent the timing between slot changes is. Real humans have natural variation, but cheats are suspiciously precise
- Directional Scroll Protection - Won't punish players for normal scroll wheel behavior, even if they scroll fast
- Lag Protection - Automatically pauses detection when the server TPS drops below 18 to prevent false positives
- 3-Strike System - Requires 3 suspicious logs before counting as 1 violation, filtering out random lag spikes
- Auto-Reset - Clears all violation data every 15 seconds to prevent long-term false positives
How to Use
- Install the plugin by placing the JAR file in your server's plugins folder
- Restart your server
- The plugin runs automatically - no setup required!
- Check console logs for cheat detection alerts
Tips & Tricks
- The plugin works best on servers with stable performance
- Detection alerts appear in your server console with the player name
- If you see too many false positives, check your server's TPS - lag can cause issues
Known Limitations
- Very fast legitimate players might occasionally trigger warnings during extreme lag
- The 15-second reset means cheating is detected quickly but violation history doesn't persist across restarts
