Overview

Ruby Expansions adds a ton of new content to your Minecraft server! You can craft powerful Obsidian and Dragonite tools and armor, explore the Obsidian Dimension, trade with a custom shop system, and grow special crops like Dragonflame carrots. It's perfect for players who want more adventure and cool gear.

Features

• Obsidian Tools & Armor: Craft super-durable gear from Obsidian Ingots. Obsidian armor gives you bonus resistance when wearing the full set!
• Dragonite Gear: The ultimate upgrade! Use Dragonite at a Smithing Table to upgrade Netherite gear. Full Dragonite armor gives Fire Resistance and Strength 5!
• Shop System: Use /shop to buy and sell items with Craftercoins. Sell ores like diamonds, rubies, and obsidite for coins, then buy special modded items!
• 5 New Ores: Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz, Amethyst, and Obsidite - each with their own tools!
• Obsidian Dimension: Build an Ancient Portal using Ancient Bars and travel to the Obsidian Dimension with obsidian trees and obsistone!
• New Crops: Grow Dragonflame (gives Fire Resistance when eaten!) and Obsiwheat for special breads
• Dough Maker Block: Combine water and wheat to make different doughs for Flatbread, Charredbread, and Obsibread
• Quick Wall Building: Use /placewall <width> <height> to quickly build walls from blocks in your inventory

How to Use

Commands

• /shop - Opens the shop menu showing buy/sell prices
• /shop sell <amount> - Sell the item in your hand for Craftercoins
• /shop buy <item> <amount> - Buy items from the shop
• /balance - Check your Craftercoin balance
• /placewall <width> <height> - Place a wall of blocks (hold the block you want to place)

Crafting

• Craft Obsidian Ingots from regular Obsidian (shapeless recipe)
• Use Obsidian Ingots to make Obsidian tools and armor
• Find new ores underground and use them to craft gem tools

Dimension Travel

1. Throw Obsidite Ore into lava to get Ancient Bars
2. Build a portal frame with Obsidite Portal Frames
3. Place a Lava Bucket inside the portal frame
4. Enter the portal to travel to the Obsidian Dimension!

Armor Bonuses

• Obsidian Armor (full set): Resistance effect
• Dragonite Armor (full set): Fire Resistance + Strength 5

Tips & Tricks

• Sell diamonds for 100 coins each at the shop - great way to start earning!
• Dragonflame crops give Fire Resistance when eaten - super useful in the Nether!
• Obsidite tools are stronger than Diamond but weaker than Netherite
• Dragonite gear is the strongest in the mod - defeat the Obsidite Dragon in the Nether Dungeon to get Dragonite!

Known Limitations

• Custom textures are using placeholder assets (some items may appear as default textures)
• The Obsidian Dimension uses Nether-like generation as a base
• Villager trades in the Obsidian Dimension require the Obsilanguage Scroll in your offhand to view
