- Shadow Dominion adds the Crown of Dominion, a fireproof helm (5 armor, 1000 durability) with a dark rune texture. Craft it with netherite ingots around a nether star (pattern: N in top-middle/mid-sides/bottom row, S in center).
- Wearing or holding the crown lets you dominate mobs by right-clicking them; tougher or healthy mobs resist longer (2–10s) and bosses push back harder. Hurting a target lowers resistance. Failed attempts anger the mob; successful attempts mark it with glowing eyes, portal flashes for 3s, and a faint soul/portal aura.
- Dominated mobs are bound to the player, won’t hurt allies or their owner (unless rebelling/training), and gain the Orders GUI: right-click them while carrying the crown (empty hand works if the crown is in your inventory) to open a chest-style menu.
- Orders GUI options: Follow with stances (Aggressive hunts nearby hostiles, Defend retaliates if you’re hit, Passive rescues when your health drops), Guard (Stand/Short/Long patrol around a guard post), and Train (safe sparring). Train increases strength (+5% if the mob “wins” when your health dips, +1% otherwise); repeated wins can trigger rebellion until you beat them in training.
- Guard posts: crouch + right-click a block with the crown to anchor the nearest dominated mob you own there; GUI guard stance controls patrol radius. Allies follow their orders, protect you on attacks, and spawn subtle soul/portal effects to signal domination.
- Known notes: rebellion damage to the owner is softened but present; dominated state clears on death; Orders menu uses the vanilla chest interface for reliability; the mod avoids client-only code so it can run on servers.
