Shields mod adds two craftable shield variants on the server: an Obsidian Shield and a Diamond Shield. Both use the vanilla shield look and durability and register under the shields mod id.
- Obsidian Shield recipe: shaped crafting with oak planks in the top row, oak/obsidian/oak in the middle, and a single oak plank in the center of the bottom row (6 oak planks + 1 obsidian total).
- Diamond Shield recipe: same pattern, substituting a diamond for the obsidian (6 oak planks + 1 diamond).
- Recipes unlock when you pick up the required ingredients; otherwise you can still craft manually or use
/give shields:obsidian_shieldor/give shields:diamond_shield.
Notes and limitations:
- The mod is server-targeted; clients need the mod or matching resources to see and use the custom shields correctly.
- Items are not added to a creative tab; obtain them via their recipes or commands.
