Space Marine Mod Notes

  • Adds ork grunts, space marines, a rideable rhino transport, and a hovering dakka jet. They spawn naturally in the overworld (marines prefer plains/savanna/taiga) and also have spawn egg items.
  • Weapons and gear: bolter and shoota hitscan blasters (right-click to fire), chainsword, power hammer, scrap saw, and a fireproof netherite-tier power armor set.
  • Vehicles: use the rhino or dakka jet deployer items to spawn a rideable vehicle. Right-click the entity to mount; movement follows the rider’s directional input.
  • Blocks and terrain: scrap metal, war steel, and promethium ore blocks are available as block items. Overworld chunk decoration now queues per-chunk work on the server tick to avoid startup stalls, scattering scrap craters, promethium ore pockets in stone/deepslate, and occasional war bunkers built from war steel.
  • Main entrypoint: com.spacemarine.SpaceMarineMod on the dedicated server side; registries live under com.spacemarine.registry with entity logic in com.spacemarine.entity and world decoration utilities in com.spacemarine.worldgen.
  • Limitations: vehicles are intentionally lightweight (no custom textures or inventory), bunkers are small procedurally built shells for ambience rather than full dungeons, and decoration only runs while chunks are loaded server-side.

Server Validation

Server validation passed - The mod was tested on a real Minecraft server and loaded successfully.
