Steel box mod notes
- Added a Steel Chest block that behaves like a regular chest but only opens when the block (or its paired half) is receiving redstone power. Players attempting to open an unpowered chest get an action bar reminder that it needs power.
- The Steel Chest uses vanilla chest visuals and supports double-chest pairing; power on either half allows access to the combined inventory. It drops itself when broken and requires at least an iron-tier pickaxe.
- Crafting: shaped recipe using iron ingots around a vanilla chest with a redstone dust beneath (see Steel Chest recipe in the crafting guide).
Important notes
- The mod is server-scoped; ensure connected clients also have the content if you want them to see and use the Steel Chest correctly.
- Power is only checked when opening; removing redstone while the chest UI is open does not forcibly close it.
- No custom textures are included; the chest currently renders with the standard chest appearance.
