The Eye Mod
Overview
The Eye is a mysterious Minecraft mod that adds a mischievous Questing Entity that offers you quests every 60 seconds. Accept quests for powerful buffs, but beware - failing comes with consequences! After defeating the Ender Dragon, you can obtain The Eye, a cursed helmet that forces you to reflect on your journey.
Features
- Questing Entity: A floating, winged imp that randomly appears and offers you quests
- Quest System: Complete challenges like killing mobs, gathering items, or exploring for rewards
- Potion of Compliance: Receive temporary buffs when accepting quests (Speed, Strength, Resistance, and more!)
- The Eye: A cursed Netherite helmet obtained after defeating the Ender Dragon that shares reflective messages
- Consequence System: Failing quests results in negative effects - the harder the quest, the worse the punishment
- 5 Advancements: Track your progress with achievements for encountering the Entity, completing quests, and more
How to Use
- Questing Entity: It will randomly appear near you every 60 seconds. Right-click it to accept the quest it offers!
- Completing Quests: Each quest has a specific goal (kill mobs, gather items, etc.). Complete it before time runs out!
- Failing Quests: If you don't complete a quest in time, you'll suffer debuffs based on quest difficulty
- The Eye: After defeating the Ender Dragon, this special helmet becomes available. When worn, it periodically shares reflective messages about your journey
Tips & Tricks
- Higher difficulty quests give better rewards but worse consequences
- The Questing Entity can teleport if you try to attack it - you can't hurt it!
- Your quest difficulty scales with your progression (XP level, diamonds, netherite in inventory)
- The Eye's messages change based on how long you've been wearing it
Known Limitations
- Quest progress tracking for specific quest types requires additional implementation
- Some quest types may not track progress automatically
- Advancements are placeholders in this version
