the moon mod highlights:

• Moon dimension (themoon:moon) built from lunar rock with a custom low-visibility biome; bedrock base plus a thick Moon Rock layer make harvesting fast and safe.
• Lunar Tether teleporter swaps you between the Moon and the Overworld, finds a safe landing spot, plays a teleport sound, consumes durability, and respects a short cooldown. It warns you if the Moon level is missing.
• Moon Rock behaves like a sturdy stone block (pickaxe, iron-tier or better), drops itself, and can be crafted directly into always-edible Moon Cheese.
• Crafting ties gear to lunar resources: Moon Blade (high-damage sword) from a diamond sword, Moon Hammer (heavy axe) from a netherite axe, and the Lunar Tether frame using Moon Rock plus ender pearls and a nether star. All items sit in the “The Moon” creative tab.
• Dimension type and pack metadata follow the 1.21.1 data/resource formats so the built-in worldgen loads cleanly on servers.

Notes and limitations:

• The Moon biome is intentionally calm: no mobs, no features, low ambient particle drift, and reused vanilla textures (end stone, bread, diamond sword, netherite axe, ender eye).
• The dimension uses flat generation with no structures; feel free to expand with custom features if you want more exploration targets.
