Tornoto Waypoint
Never lose your way again! This lightweight client-side mod helps you mark and track important locations in your Minecraft world. Whether it's your base, a cool cave, or a village you found, just set a waypoint and you'll always know exactly where to go.
Features
- Easy Waypoint Creation - Save any location with a custom name
- HUD Display - See your waypoints on screen with distance and direction arrows
- Multi-Dimension Support - Waypoints work in Overworld, Nether, and The End
- Toggle On/Off - Enable or disable waypoints without deleting them
- Persistent Storage - Waypoints save automatically and persist between sessions
How to Use
Creating Waypoints
At your current position:
/waypoint add home
At specific coordinates:
/waypoint add diamonds 100 64 200
Shortcut: Use /wp instead of /waypoint - it does the same thing!
Managing Waypoints
| Command | What It Does |
|---------|--------------|
| /waypoint list | See all your saved waypoints |
| /waypoint remove home | Delete a waypoint |
| /waypoint toggle home | Turn a waypoint on/off |
| /waypoint clear | Delete ALL waypoints |
| /waypoint help | Show all commands |
Reading the HUD
When you're in the same dimension as your waypoints, you'll see them displayed at the top of your screen:
- Green dot = You're super close!
- Yellow dot = Getting there (within 500 blocks)
- Red dot = Far away (over 1000 blocks)
- Arrow = Which direction to walk
Tips & Tricks
- Waypoints only show up when you're in the same dimension (Overworld waypoints won't clutter your screen in the Nether)
- The arrows point in the direction you need to go - super helpful for finding your base!
- Give your waypoints clear names like "base", "mines", or "village" so you remember what they are
- Waypoints save automatically, so don't worry about losing them when you quit
Known Limitations
- Waypoints are saved per-world for singleplayer, or in your config folder for multiplayer
- Maximum 8 waypoints display at once on the HUD (the rest are still saved!)
