Tunnelers adds underground hunters that spawn on dedicated servers without needing client assets or registries.
- Mole (spider-based) digs a 2x2 tunnel toward nearby underground players and fights like a bruiser; defaults to 120 health, boosted damage, and moderate speed.
- Kobold (cave-spider-based) carves 1x1 shafts, often dropping from above with a one-time burst hit; defaults to low health, quick movement, and fast digging.
- Both mobs avoid ores when choosing blocks to break, widening tunnels as needed and homing on the nearest player; if no ore-free route exists they may force through.
- Configuration lives in
config/tunnelers/mole.jsonandconfig/tunnelers/kobold.json(maxHealth, attackDamage, moveSpeed, miningSpeed). Edit and use/tunnelers reloadto apply. - Admin tools:
/tunnelers spawn moleor/tunnelers spawn koboldto create one at your position; creatures are tracked server-side only. - For compatibility with vanilla clients, the mobs reuse vanilla spider/cave spider models and items—no custom models or spawn eggs are included.
