Tunnelers adds underground hunters that spawn on dedicated servers without needing client assets or registries.

  • Mole (spider-based) digs a 2x2 tunnel toward nearby underground players and fights like a bruiser; defaults to 120 health, boosted damage, and moderate speed.
  • Kobold (cave-spider-based) carves 1x1 shafts, often dropping from above with a one-time burst hit; defaults to low health, quick movement, and fast digging.
  • Both mobs avoid ores when choosing blocks to break, widening tunnels as needed and homing on the nearest player; if no ore-free route exists they may force through.
  • Configuration lives in config/tunnelers/mole.json and config/tunnelers/kobold.json (maxHealth, attackDamage, moveSpeed, miningSpeed). Edit and use /tunnelers reload to apply.
  • Admin tools: /tunnelers spawn mole or /tunnelers spawn kobold to create one at your position; creatures are tracked server-side only.
  • For compatibility with vanilla clients, the mobs reuse vanilla spider/cave spider models and items—no custom models or spawn eggs are included.

Server Validation
