AnimeGirlGui

AnimeGirlGui is a client-only Fabric 1.20.1 overlay that adds an Alex-inspired anime companion to your HUD.

Features:

• Renders a chibi Alex-style sprite near the bottom-left of the HUD with idle breathing and gentle sway.
• Mood bubbles and facial changes react to your status: low health, hunger, being hurt, plus happy/comfortable moments.
• Heat reactions in hot biomes or while burning, including warm color glow; cold reactions when freezing or in frigid biomes with shiver animation.
• Hurt flashes trigger when you take damage for an immediate “ouch” cue.
• Simple blink animation to keep the companion feeling alive even when idle.

Usage:

• Client-side only; keep Fabric Loader + Fabric API installed for 1.20.1.
• Drop the built jar into your mods folder and play—no configuration is required. The overlay hides automatically when the HUD is hidden.

Known limits / ideas:

• Current art is a lightweight pixel take on Alex; you can swap the textures in assets/animegirlgui/textures/gui for custom art.
• Mood logic uses biome temperature for hot/cold cues; consider expanding with armor checks, status effects, or more detailed environment sensing if desired.
