armor

What it does

• Client-side Fabric mod that replaces the vanilla netherite armor visuals with a black/white base, sharp red accents, and a mace-themed motif across the set.
• Updates both in-hand item icons and the worn armor layers, so the look is consistent whether equipped or viewed in inventory.

How to use

• Requires Fabric Loader and Fabric API for Minecraft 1.21.1.
• Place the jar in the mods folder on the client; the textures apply automatically to netherite helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots.
• Intended for client use; it can sit on a server but is only needed on players who want the visuals.

Implementation notes

• Mod id and metadata set to armor with client environment only.
• Custom textures shipped at assets/minecraft/textures/item/netherite_*.png for armor items and assets/minecraft/textures/models/armor/netherite_layer_1.png / netherite_layer_2.png for worn armor.
• Palette favors dark metal with bright highlights and mace emblems on the chest and belt to keep the motif visible in-game.

Known limitations / ideas

• Only netherite armor is reskinned; tools and other armor types stay vanilla.
• No configuration toggles are included; enabling/disabling requires adding/removing the mod jar.
