Overview

Auto-Mod Loader is a Minecraft Fabric mod that automatically downloads mods, shaders, and texture packs on game launch using direct download links. It provides a clean, intuitive GUI for managing different download profiles.

How to Use

1. Open the GUI: Press M key or access through the main menu
2. Add a Profile: Click "+ Profile" in the top-right to create a new download profile
3. Add Download Items: Click "+ Add Item" to add a new mod/shader/texture pack
   • Enter a name for the item
   • Paste the direct download URL
   • Set the version (optional)
   • Choose the type (Mod, Shader, Texture Pack, or Datapack)
4. Download: Click "Download" on any item, or enable "Auto-download" on a profile to download all items when joining worlds
5. Toggle Items: Enable or disable specific items without removing them

Tips & Tricks

• Use version targeting to keep different MC versions' mods separate
• Enable auto-download on a profile for automatic mod loading
• Clear the cache if you encounter download issues
• Check the Logs tab for troubleshooting failed downloads

Known Limitations

• Only supports direct download URLs (not Modrinth/CurseForge API integration in MVP)
• Does not handle mod dependencies automatically
• Requires internet connection for downloads
• Some mods may require game restart to take effect
