blade clash
- Server-side Fabric mod that parries last-moment weapon swings between players and weapon-wielding monsters.
- If a player with a sword, axe, or trident strikes a nearby hostile (within about 1.5 blocks) that also holds one, the clash cancels the hit and starts a 2-second attack cooldown for both sides.
- Players receive an item cooldown and both entities are blocked from melee attacks during the recovery window.
- The trigger requires a mostly charged attack (roughly 90% readiness) and only applies to hostiles carrying the listed melee weapons; other mobs behave normally.
- Possible improvements: widen the weapon list, add visual/audio feedback when a clash occurs, or expose configuration for range/readiness thresholds.
