BoneOut

BoneOut is a server-only Fabric mod for 1.20.1 that turns every zombie kill into a melee counterattack from a skeleton.

• When a player kills a zombie, a skeleton immediately spawns at the death spot and targets that player.
• The spawned skeleton is stripped of bows/offhand gear so it closes in for melee damage only.
• Spawns are skipped in Peaceful difficulty; otherwise the skeleton persists like a normal hostile mob.
• Install by placing the built mod jar in your server’s mods folder alongside Fabric Loader/Fabric API.
• Intended for server use only; no client installation is needed for vanilla clients to connect.

Notes/limits:

• The skeleton uses standard fist damage; tweak or replace equipment in code if you want harder hits.
• Existing skeleton AI/pathfinding is kept, so it behaves like a normal hostile mob with a locked-in target on spawn.
