Bosses Mod

Overview

This mod adds elite and boss versions of regular mobs that spawn rarely in your world. These powerful enemies have custom names, glowing effects, and significantly boosted stats. Defeating them rewards you with extra XP and valuable loot!

Features

• Elite Mobs (8% spawn chance): 2.5x health, 1.5x damage, speed boost, and damage resistance
• Boss Mobs (3% spawn chance): Unique named enemies with custom abilities, enchanted gear, and special effects
• Over 30 unique boss types including Zombie Brutes, Ender Champions, Nether Champions, and more
• Bosses have particle effects that make them easy to spot from a distance
• Better loot drops: diamonds, emeralds, golden apples, and even rare items like totems of undying
• 3-5x more XP from defeating bosses and elites

How to Use

1. Just install the mod and play normally
2. Watch for mobs with colored, bold names - these are your bosses and elites
3. Bosses appear with special particle effects around them (fire, smoke, souls, etc.)
4. Defeat them for bonus rewards!

Tips & Tricks

• Boss Difficulty: Boss names hint at their strength - "Champion" and "Warlord" types are the toughest
• Loot Hunting: Higher tier bosses drop better loot, including enchanted golden apples and totems
• Nether Bosses: Blaze and Wither Skeleton bosses are especially dangerous - bring fire resistance!
• End Bosses: Ender Champion is one of the strongest, but drops netherite scraps
• Team Up: Some bosses have 4-6x normal health - bring friends or good gear!

Known Limitations

• Boss variants only spawn from naturally spawning hostile mobs
• Baby mobs cannot become bosses
• Named mobs (from name tags) will not convert to bosses
