Charge-bone

Charge-bone adds a Charge/Heat sandbox around Copper-Bone exo gear and World Eater upgrades. Charge fuels thrusters, dashes, and shocks; Heat powers weapons but can cook you if ignored.

What it does

• Charge system (players): Copper-Bone armor regenerates Charge (faster on the ground). Sneak while airborne to spend Charge on lift/glide; sprint to consume Charge on a dash. Charge-fed melee shocks apply weakness and bonus damage. Running over the safe limit causes periodic shockwaves, nausea, self-damage, and can end in an EMP blast that wipes Charge.
• Heat system (items): The Copper-Bone Lance and World Eater Cutter build Heat on hits and while sprinting. They cool over time, can vent on right-click (small self-stagger), and overheat into a lockout that burns and hurts the wielder.
• World Eater tech: Craft a World Eater Core (netherite scrap + echo shard + redstone block + copper ingot). Using it upgrades equipped Copper-Bone armor to World Eater versions (durability and NBT preserved). It also upgrades the lance into the World Eater Cutter with an extra netherite scrap. World Eater gear regenerates Charge faster and boosts thruster/shock strength.
• Crafting: Copper + bones craft the Copper-Bone armor set; copper/bone/stick crafts the lance. World Eater pieces are shapeless upgrades with the core.
• Failure cues: Burning Charge with no reserve jams the suit (slow + fatigue + damage). Overheating weapons or staying overcharged too long inflicts escalating damage; extreme overcharge can trigger a small explosion.

Notes

• Cardinal Components API jars are bundled inside the mod, so no extra downloads are needed.
• There is no HUD meter; rely on sounds, status effects, and cooldown feels to read Charge/Heat. Items use vanilla visuals.
• Component ids are declared in the mod metadata so dedicated servers can bootstrap CCA without errors.
